Biography
Dr Pierre Dubois is Research Director of INRA at the Toulouse School of Economics of the University of Toulouse and a research fellow of the Institute of Industrial Economics (IDEI). After a PhD at CREST and EHESS (Paris) in 1999, he was first assistant professor at the department of economics of the University of Montreal, then invited researcher at the University of California at Berkeley before joining INRA and the University of Toulouse at the end of 2000. He is Deputy director of GREMAQ since January 2007 and teaches Microeconometrics at the Master and PhD levels at the Toulouse School of Economics. His research is on Development Economics and Industrial Organization. He has published articles in inter-national peer reviewed journals such as the Journal of Political Economy, Econometrica, the Journal of Development Economics, the Journal of the European Economic Association, the American Journal of Agricultural Economics, the Journal of Regulatory Economics. He is also a research affiliate at CEPR.
