Biography
Penny Boys was appointed to the Council of the CC in December 2012. She was the first Deputy Director for Electricity Regulation. She was also Secretary to the Monopolies and Mergers Commission during its transition to the CC, and Deputy Director General (later Executive Director) at the Office of Fair Trading. She is a non-executive director of Ofwat, where she chairs the Audit Committee. She was an independent member and then Deputy Chairman of the Horserace Betting Levy Board from 2006 to 2011.
