Prescription-only Veterinary Medicines

Public Hearing

The Competition Commission held a public meeting on 26 April, as part of its inquiry into the supply of prescription-only animal medicines. The Commission is investigating the chain of supply from manufacturers (pharmaceutical companies) through wholesalers to veterinary surgeons and onwards to customers, including owners of companion animals.
