Staff interests

The spouse of one of the Economic Advisers working on the BOC Limited / Ineos Chlor Limited merger inquiry works for an economic consultancy which has been appointed by the parties to give advice on this inquiry. The Economic Adviser’s spouse is not and will not be involved on this case.

The CC does not believe that this matter will prejudice the ability of the staff team, nor the Economic Adviser, to advise the inquiry group and to administer the investigation in an independent and impartial manner.
