Mr Peter Freeman

Peter Freeman was appointed Chairman in 2006, having been a member since May 2003 and a Deputy Chairman since September 2003. Prior to joining the CC, he was head of the EC and Competition Law Group of the international law firm Simmons & Simmons. He was co-founder of and, until 2007, Chairman of the Regulatory Policy Institute, is a Consulting Editor of Butterworths’ Competition Law, and is a member of the Advisory Boards of the Competition Law Journal the International Competition Law Forum and the ESRC Research Centre for Competition Policy.
